Folkmusik 2.0 at Kulturhuset/Stadsteatern
Visual Identity
“Folkmusik 2.0 – Swedish hiphop remixed” was an audio-visual group exhibition at Kulturhuset/Stadsteatern in Stockholm, showcasing hiphop as one of the most important contemporary cultural forces. The exhibition architecture was designed to resemble urban space and to divide the exhibition into smaller parts for each piece. The typography based visual identity included supergraphics and wayfinding to cover the entire 450 sqm exhibition area from floor to ceiling. The Barbara Kruger-inspired supergraphics “sampled” parts of the exhibited songs typographically and let the typography take over the facades.
